Fieldmark Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Fieldmark is an offline-first inspection workflow app for solo home inspectors. This policy explains what information the app stores and how it is used.
Information You Enter
Fieldmark stores inspection information that you choose to enter or attach in the app, including:
- Inspection address and inspection date
- Section notes and review status
- Defect titles, severity, notes, and reusable comments
- Inspection photos, captions, and photo links to defects
- Local backup and report export files that you create
Camera and Photo Library Access
Fieldmark requests camera and photo library access so you can attach inspection photos to report sections and defects. Photos are used for inspection documentation and local report output.
Local Storage
Fieldmark is local-first. Inspection data is stored on your device by default. PDF, HTML, text, and JSON backup files are created only when you choose to export, save, or share them.
Accounts and Server Transfer
The current version of Fieldmark does not require account creation or login. It does not automatically send inspection data to a Fieldmark server. If optional cloud backup or sync is added in the future, this policy will be updated to explain how that feature works.
Subscriptions and Purchase Processing
Builds that enable Fieldmark Pro subscriptions use the App Store and RevenueCat to process subscription purchases, restores, and entitlement status. Purchase status, receipt validation information, app instance identifiers, and store or device technical information may be used for subscription processing. Inspection addresses, defect notes, inspection photos, and report contents are not sent to RevenueCat for subscription processing.
Tracking and Advertising
Fieldmark does not use third-party advertising networks, advertising tracking, or data collection for AI defect diagnosis.
Data Sharing
Fieldmark does not sell your inspection data. If you share a PDF, HTML, text, or JSON backup file, that sharing is controlled by you.
Data Deletion
You can delete local inspection data in the app. If you delete the app, locally stored Fieldmark data is removed according to the operating system's app deletion behavior.
